Website Designer

For Dahlia’s portfolio website, I focused on creating a visually compelling digital experience that reflected her personality, creative identity, and body of work. From the overall visual direction to the website’s layout, typography, and user experience, every design decision was made to balance aesthetics with functionality. The result is a cohesive, intuitive portfolio that not only showcases her work but also establishes a memorable personal brand.

Styling

I wanted the website to feel youthful, playful, and full of personality, reflecting Dahlia’s bubbly enthusiasm and creativity throughout every page. Dahlia sees life through rose-colored glasses, and I wanted to bring that perspective to life through a vibrant, whimsical design that captures her unique outlook on the world.

Navigation & Usability

Ease of use was a top priority for this project. Since Dahlia would be submitting her portfolio to schools, it was essential that reviewers could navigate the website effortlessly from the moment they landed on it. To create an intuitive experience, I focused on three key design decisions: a navigation bar highlighting her most important projects, two prominent portfolio buttons positioned front and center on the homepage, and a “Next Project” button at the bottom of each project page, allowing reviewers to seamlessly explore her work without unnecessary clicks or confusion.
